Sky (wish) Lanterns have a long history and have been popular in many cultures for years.
Such a simple device, made of lightweight paper, bamboo and a wax and paper fuel source becomes a vessel for so many sentiments.
These sentiments make a lasting impact on everyone involved, reaching a spiritual level for some.
We found this amazing event called “Rise Festival” happening out west and are moved by the idea and the beautiful video featuring the release of thousands of wishes into the sky.
